Often I have walked in a medley crowd
I used to wonder why I went on and on
Why I never stopped when I had enough
What else was I searching for?
I have misruled my name
I have been Mr Misbehaviour
Stop! I had to give it all up
Stop! I already won the best cup
She mended my heart, took care of it
A simple thanks has never suited her
My mended heart gives her all the credit

She knows how to take care of the dark sides
She knows how to prepare for the hard times
My mended heart sometimes beats double

Often I slept with an unknown soul
I seldom knew what was going on
