I roared by the river, wailing the wildest tune
I thought I knew it all, we had reached the peak
I wasn’t aware of what was going on in your heart
This detonation is the hit for a second life in blues
For me to go insane, to turn away from my God
Our separation is going to be the secondary end
You had the children, all I did was to loose
I never chose, you hit me, hit me with the blues
You gave me one blues of a kind, now I want you every morning
You gave me one blues of a kind, still believe you’re mine
I sat by the river, sang the saddest of songs
I brought you new names, I was at the bottom
The situation had to be solved all at once
I couldn’t see clearly what was going on
Never saw me as the notorious falsifier
Never believed I should try out a suicide
I can see clearly now what was going on
