DIGNITY
(Jörgen Jansson)
I’m waiting in the darkest hour, holding my breath
Lowering my heartbeat, I’m inside my own heartache
Every day is haunting me every night is a day away
When I had you by my side
My heart wasn’t pending
I used to ride the high skies
When I had your heart around
I have things to contemplate about
So I offer myself to blue heavens
Would I be a man of dignity?
Would that be awful and disgracefully?
Dignity is a heavy stone to carry
I won’t leave without dignity
I’m alone with my souls – dignified
Dignity for a life filled with love
I’m waiting in the darken hour, holding my breath
Lowering my heartbeat, I’m inside a mans heartache
Every day is haunting me, every night is a day away
I used to live on the edge
I never cried out like this
My mind wasn’t reeling
I used to love life with you
If I had something to concern about
I could walk with pride in heavens
Would I be a man of dignity?
Would that be cool and gracefully?
Dignity is a heavy stone to carry
I won’t leave without dignity
I’m alone with my souls – dignified
Dignity for a life filled with love
