My skin is dry and pale, my body shivers
Life is cracking, I’m going down
I’m not the man I used to be
I did a few years as a… Casanova
Loaded with stuff you don’t want to know
Doing things like a… hot beast in a show
What I asked for I was given, what I did was all wrong
Was this a madman’s triumph? A manic time of mine?
Jack of hearts, so close to their heart
The loner was a loser from the start
Jack of hearts, a player in the game
I can smell the danger around here
Jack of hearts, I feel the spirit changing
New luck is controlling my senses
Jack of hearts, I feel the riot in my heart
I walk into the sun out from the moon
Am I not in Gods magnifying glass?
Do I look like a clown, a bedtime junkie?
No my friend I’ve been skating on thin ice
No my friend life is rolling me like a dice
Someday I hope to be both Jack and a king
Some day these two shall walk the same line
I would like to be the lover of a mother
I would like to be the father of her child

They’ve killed the demon with a goad
