The love that I lost I the love I still seek
I never knew it, until it was to late
Didn't really lose it, 'cause it wasn't really mine
But I know that I had it, at least that one time
Like a river finds the sea, like a bird finds its way
I thought that someday, you'd find your way back to me
Unlike the bird, you needed help on your way
But I didn't help you, just watched you slip away
Like an everlasting bud, never fades never blooms
I feel trapped in my love, in my feelings for you
