you don’t always have to smile,
it’s okay to be sad sometimes,
and let a tear drop from your eye
strength and courage is beautiful
and sacrifice is too
but not only
because weakness can be beautiful too
you know yourself like no one else
the truth within you lay
but sometimes it can be hard to see
beyond the others lies
friends and foes
are all the same
they can all cause pain
as well as truth
you don’t always have to be happy
