beware the black knight
beware he'll come at night
beware his steps and breath
beware his shadow
he'll give you a fright
a sense of darkness
and silent night
your soul he'll take
with a swing of his scythe
since the beginning of time
who came first
God or the black knight
one is white
and one is black
but both are divine
one is inevitable
the other is a choice
to one you pray
but the other
yields a voice
a chill down your spine
for your recent crime
a hiss and last kiss
the rest you'll miss
but either way
beware the black knight
for though God exists
he'll still come at night.
