Been seeking and I sense it, oh yes indeed
Insane wisdom? Therapy? No thanks, no way
What about the unforeseen? What’s our true creed?
So I cried, is that strange? You deranged my day
Power, what are you inside of me?
I tried to get on up, but faith was removing
I followed a script and you just twisted it all
Power inside change! Hear what I have to say
I bide my time here so let me be
This has to stop, my skies are moving
No need to rip me, no need to make me fall
You just rearrange - hurt me every day
I deny any crime, a belief, is it still free?
I had goals to top, life was improving
No need to whip me, no need to make that call
You’re just too strange - shout at me, I can not stay
Power, I’m about to melt the single key
Can’t afford to drop, I need this broken wing
I’m the operator, I’m forcing this mighty wall
Power inside change! This blues is the hardest way
…and then later on, much later
I stand in this lighthouse watching, it’s amazing
So… power in me, the answer I found is the riddle I am
I presume it all rounds up in some fanatical oral exam
A soul of words and phases, love and crime, oh what I’ve been chasing
I seek... find... life inside of me - A power of you in a life of me
